| Well school was school today. Which means I tried to savour the entire day until football came about. Gah I hate football, haha. It will probably all be worth it when Friday night rolls around though. The only thing that compares to being on that field in my life so far is playing guitar on stage. Both give me about the same feeling. I've got to read Moby Dick again today. I'm ahead, but I have to stay ahead so that I can have the weekend free. I will be in NO position to learn this weekend. | | |
| Today was loooooong. After school we had a football game against Hixson, which we won 28-27. Looks like I'm playing until the end of the season. Not my first choice, but I'll stick it out for 11 weeks. I'm just really looking forward to getting done and playing guitar non-stop. We listened to John Coltrane today in American Lit. I don't think most people know that I listen to him, but I guess that they do now. It kind of sucks being in honors classes and then playing football because you're definately judged when you walk into the room. That was one of the reasons that I wanted to quit football, but a lot of people have worked really hard to not let the town down so I guess I can do my part this year. I've got to go read...Moby Dick. | | |
| So I played football while it rained and then I came home and did homework. My life sucks. I haven't played guitar at all, but I intend to tomorrow when I get home. Me, Daniel, and Brandi are going to Panera tomorrow. I'd personally rather just go to Chick-fil-a, but it's worth it to see Brandi since I hardley ever see her anymore. I saw Susannah today and then I find out that she's commented on my xanga. Damn I feel special! | | |
| Just got back home from a family reunion. I kind of just think of family reunions as payback for everything that I've done bad during the year. I sat in the car for about three hours and then we finally went home. Then Daniel and I went out to eat and now I'm about to write my essay. Should have done that this morning or even last night, but why do today what you might have time to do tomorrow? Oh by the way, this is probably Phish's best live song... EVER. Definately a lot of props to Cody Robinson for telling me to get the live version.
